Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Tbilisi and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Tbilisi

Today we will walk to the historical part of the city and enjoy the unique combination of cultures.

Walking through the narrow streets of the city we will see various religious buildings: churches, synagogues, mosques, wooden houses built in the nineteenth century with colorful balconies, Sulphur Baths, the Narikala Fortress.

We will travel by funicular and visit Mtatsminda Park. Funicular has cultural significance as well as transport significance. Tbilisi is hard to imagine without Mtatsminda and the funicular. We will take a walk in Mtatsminda Park, which has an unusual location.

Day 3: Tbilisi - Sighnaghi - Kvareli

In the morning we take the road to the Kakheti region. This side of Georgia is considered the homeland of wine. However, apart from winemaking, Kakheti is distinguished by monuments of different periods and diverse nature.

Here we will visit the fortified town Sighnaghi, which leaves a special impression with it’s beautiful streets and distinctive natural location. We will walk along the cobbled streets with colourful houses and balconies, enjoy the amazing view of the snow-capped Caucasus Mountains and the vast valley of Alazani.

A visit to Kakheti is improbable without a local family lunch. The tradition of generously hosting a guest is especially felt here. The kindness of the hosts, the immediacy, the taste of home-made dishes and wine create special emotions around the table.

After lunch, we will get involved in the preparation of traditional sweets. The process of making Churchkhela made from grape juice is fun for people of any age.

In the evening we will stay in Kvareli.

Day 4: Kvareli - Gremi - Tsinandali - Telavi - Kvareli

In the morning we visit Gremi Architectural Complex. We will visit cross cupola Church of the Archangels. The visitor will easily get an impression of the greatness and strength of the old Gremi. This historical complex is a museum today.

Then we visit Tsinandali Museum Complex. The complex includes a house-museum built in the 19th century, a beautiful garden, and a unique wine cellar.

In the afternoon we move to Telavi and visit the agricultural market. Various products are displayed on the open shelves: seasonal ripe fruits, healthy vegetables, colourful spices, cheeses, fresh meats, beaded garlic, or walnuts.

Take a walk through the central streets of the city, which have recently been restored.

We will finish the second day of the trip to Kakheti in Kvareli.

Day 5: Kvareli - Tbilisi

We can spend the last morning of the trip pleasantly in Kvareli and add the best memories to our family adventure.

The recreation area of ​​the hotel will fully satisfy the interest of any member of the family. This might be a pool, spa, or restaurant with a large terrace, which offers an amazing view of the Alazani Valley.

It is also possible to take a bike around the lake. We return to Tbilisi full of harmony and peace. We can spend a free evening in Tbilisi.

Day 6: Tbilisi - Batumi

The sixth day of the trip continues with train. The modernised train will take us comfortably to Batumi.

One of the most beautiful regions of Georgia, Adjara is distinguished by unusual nature, the charm of the Black Sea, beautiful mountain and sea landscapes, natural reserves and the famous botanical garden.

Day 7: Batumi

We will spend this day on the seaside in Batumi. Batumi is the administrative centre of Adjara and the second-largest city in Georgia.

With its ancient port, beautiful seaside boulevard, old or new architectural buildings, European squares, and streets, Batumi is the best example of modern Georgia.

We will visit the main tourist sights of Batumi: the piazza, the statue of Medea, the alphabet tower, the moving statue of Ali and Nino.

You can even spend free evening hours on the beautiful seaside boulevard or in old port.

Day 8: Batumi - Shekvetili - Martvili - Kutaisi

In the morning we drive to Kutaisi. On the way we visit Shekvetili Dendrological Park, which opened in 2020. The park brings together thousands of local and foreign exotic flora species.

In the afternoon we will visit Martvili Canyon. The canyon makes an unforgettable impression on the visitor. While boating we will enjoy the beautiful valley of the mountain river and waterfalls.

In the evening we will stay in Kutaisi, which is one of the oldest cities in the world.

Day 9: Kutaisi - Borjomi
Our adventure continues with a visit to Sataplia National Reserve. This reserve is the best choice for family trips.

Simple hiking trails, conservation building of dinosaur footprint, exhibition hall, panoramic glass view, unique karst cave, Colchis forest, and wild bee habitat make our trip even more interesting.

In the afternoon we visit Borjomi, hidden in the green, which is a famous balneological and climatic resort. While walking in Borjomi Central Park we can taste the mineral water.

The ninth day of the journey ends in a beautiful city immersed in nature.

Day 10: Borjomi - Vardzia - Akhaltsikhe - Borjomi

In the morning we will drive to Vardzia. On the way, we will see Khertvisi fortress. We will stop to take a photo of this medieval defensive structure.

Then we will visit Vardzia cave town, which is the largest among the rock-carved cities in Georgia. There is a Church of the Assumption, refectories, sanctuaries, pantries, tunnels, a large number of cellars and pitchers.

In the afternoon we will see one of the most distinguished monuments in Akhaltsikhe, Rabat Fortress.

It was the most important defensive structure in the region, its walls remembering many difficult battles.

After a pleasantly busy day, we return to Borjomi.

Day 11: Borjomi - Uplistsikhe - Stepantsminda

The next day of the trip we drive to Stepantsminda. On the way, we will visit the cave town, Uplistsikhe, which was a waypoint on the Silk Road, which passed here. It was one of the oldest settlements and urban centers in the Caucasus.

Our route leads to the famous Georgian Military Road to Stepantsminda. The military road is one of the most spectacular routes in Georgia. While traveling in the beautiful mountains of the Caucasus, we will enjoy panoramic views.

On the way, we will stop for a photo of the beautiful fusion of the colorful, Zhinvali Reservoir and the impressive Ananuri complex.

In the evening we will stay in Stepantsminda, famous for the Great Caucasus.

Day 12: Stepantsminda - Juta - Mt. Chaukhebi - Stepantsminda

On this day we will visit the village of Juta, which is an earthly paradise for nature lovers. Wildlife and virgin nature make Juta deservedly one of the most impressive places in Georgia.

After moving by car, we will start a walking tour from the village of Juta to the direction of Chaukhebi.

The walking route makes us feel the beauty of nature even more intensely and emotionally. Green slopes and wildflowers of intense colour make this place fantastic.

At the end of the day, we return to Stepantsminda with the best feelings.

Day 13: Stepantsminda - Tbilisi

A visit to Stepantsminda is impossible without Gergeti Trinity churchWith its special location and centuries-old history, it really represents the face of Georgia.

The green slopes decorated with mountain flowers and the great Caucasus leave an unforgettable impression on the visitor.

We will spend the last evening of our trip in old and at the same time modern Tbilisi.

Transfer to the airport and departure for home.
