Tbilisi 
Tbilisi – The capital of Georgia.  One of the most distinctive and different cities in Europe, with its unique history, vibrant past, and sophisticated infrastructure creates completely different and mysterious feelings.

Visit the Vardzia Cave town
This monastery complex is the largest among the cave towns in Georgia. Wander through its refectories, sanctuaries,  tunnels, and cellars and visit the Church of Assumption, a true monument to Georgian artistic culture.

Along the Great Silk Road
Set off on a journey in time and visit the unique and ancient city of Uplistsikhe (1st millennium BC) one of the oldest archeological sites in the world, the place where the Great Silk Road used to pass.

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Tbilisi and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Tbilisi

Today you will walk through the historical streets of old Tbilisi and enjoying the unique combination of cultures.

Meandering through the narrow streets of the city we will come across various religious buildings: Churches, Synagogues, Mosques, wooden houses built in the 19th century with colourful balconies, sulphur baths, and the Narikala fortress.

Free time in the second half of the day.

Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 3: Tbilisi - Svetitskhoveli - Uplistsikhe - Gori

In the morning, drive to the ancient town of Mtskheta and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the beautiful Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.

After visiting Svetitskhoveli, you will adjust the bicycles and begin your 8 days cycling adventure.

You will cycle to the Uplistsikhe cave town. Visit Uplistsikhe cave town, which was connected to the Silk Road. Once the glorious castle-town is now an open-air museum and deservedly considered one of the most important tourist monuments in the country.

After Uplistsikhe, you will drive to Gori, check-in at the hotel.

In your free time, you will be able to see the place, where Stalin was born. Overnight in Gori.

Day 4: Gori - Kintsvisi - Borjomi - Akhaltsikhe

In the morning, you will ride your bicycle to Kintsvisi Church, which is distinguished by it’s beautiful frescoes.

After visiting this beautiful monastery, you will pass several churches and castles on the way and then, drive to Akhaltsikhe, the administrative center of Southern Georgia.

On the way, you will visit the town of Borjomi, which is hidden in the green. Borjomi is a famous balneological and climatic resort. While walking in Borjomi Central Park, you can taste the famous mineral water.

Overnight in Akhlarsikhe.

Day 5: Akhaltsikhe - Vardzia

Today, you will travel entirely by bicycle.

You will start the journey relatively early in the morning as you have a long and tiring road ahead.

On the way, stop for Khertvisi Fortress and take a photo of this medieval defensive structure.

Continue bike riding to Vardzia, check-in at the hotel. If you wish, you can have delicious lunch at a local family.

After some time, visit Vardzia Monastery Complex, which is the largest among the rock-carved cities in Georgia and can be easily seen from afar. Overnight in Vardzia.

Bike riding: 65 km. 4 hrs.

Day 6: Vardzia - Akhalkalaki

Today, you travel entirely by bicycle. You will cycle to Akhalkalaki, which is located on a volcanic plateau.

In the afternoon, you will have free time to relax. Various masterclasses can be done if interested.

Overnight in Akhalkalaki.

Day 7: Akhalkalaki - Tbilisi

In the morning, you will drive to the largest lake of Georgia – Paravni, from where starts our bicycle trip to Tbilisi.

You will pass several lakes, where a delicious lunch will be served at the fish restaurant.

Overnight in Tbilisi.

Bike riding: 74 km. 4 hrs.

Day 8: Tbilisi - Gombori pass - Telavi

Today will be the most challenging day of your trip. You will have to go through most of the ascents and downhills.

At first, you will drive by car and then, you will ride Gombori pass by bicycle and arrive in Telavi, which is the center of the wine region. Later, you will have an opportunity to taste the best Georgian wines and walk in the beautiful streets of historic Telavi.

Overnight in Telavi.

Day 9: Telavi - Gremi - Kvareli

In the morning, you will start cycling and get acquainted with the sights of the region.

You will visit the Gremi Architectural Complex, afterwards visit one of the oldest monasteries in Georgia – Nekresi. Continue to Kvareli.

The best Kakhetian dishes and Georgian wine are waiting for you for dinner. Overnight in Kvareli.

Bike riding: 45 km. 2 hrs.

Day 10: Kvareli - Sighnaghi - Tbilisi

In the morning, you will ride bicycles between the vineyards and orchards, you will pass through the villages and get acquainted with the lifestyle of the local population.

Your cycle adventure ends in the villages of the Kakheti region, from where you will drive to the 18th-century town of Sighnaghi. Visit a local family there, where you taste local cuisine and wine. In the evening, return to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 11: Departure

Transfer to the airport and departure.
